MAP

Led by Paulo Gomes, MAP is a quartet dedicated to the interpretation of music  original, jazz-influenced, written by the members of the group. debuted in  Porta-Jazz Festival in December 2012. His first CD – The Zombie Wolf  Playn' The Blues On A Monday Morning - was released in 2014. This record was  presented in many concerts in Portugal, and two concert series in France; in February and August 2015. In October 2015 they published the second CD – Circo Voador , inspired by the circus arts which was also disseminated throughout the country and some concerts in France in 2016. In 2017 they publish the third CD - Guerra e Paz , considered by the blog “Bird is the worm” as one of the best jazz records released in 2017. In January 2018 they presented their music at a concert in Switzerland, in Genéve. In December of the same year they act with the  American saxophonist Chris Cheek at Festival Porta Jazz at Teatro Rivoli. The recording of this concert came out  the fourth record on CD – MAP + Chris Cheek .
